What the app processes
ExportForWeb reads only the videos and still images you choose. It writes WebM or MP4 video, WebP images, and optional first-frame WebP posters to the destination folder you select. Processing happens on your Mac. Your source media and exports are not sent to ExportForWeb servers. The app stores conversion preferences and a secure bookmark to your chosen destination locally so it can remember your settings.
Accounts and analytics
The app does not require an account. The current version does not use advertising identifiers or sell personal information. If optional diagnostics or analytics are introduced later, this policy will be updated before those changes take effect.
Support email
If you contact support, we receive the email address, message, and attachments you choose to send. We use that information only to answer your request and investigate the issue. Do not send private videos or images unless support specifically asks for a sample and you are comfortable sharing it.
Website and early access
Our hosting provider may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp to deliver and secure the website. If you join early access through a third-party form, the information you submit is also governed by that provider’s privacy terms.
Retention and sharing
Support correspondence is kept only as long as needed to resolve requests and maintain an accurate support history. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect the security and integrity of the service.
Your choices
You may ask us to delete support correspondence associated with your email address, subject to legal or security obligations. Contact us using the address below.
